Allround / freeride kite
The all-round / freeride kite is the most versatile kite on the market. This type of kite is for kite surfers of all levels. An all-round / freeride kite is characterized by very balanced properties and can therefore also be used to orient yourself in other kitesurfing disciplines such as: big air, freestyle, wave, foil or light-wind. With a freeride kite you can make your first jumps and learn and improve freestyle tricks. Would you like to jump your first 'backroll', unhook and jump your first 'raley's' or maybe learn a kiteloop yourself? Then this is possible with a freeride kite! These kites are also good for wave kite surfing or trying a foil session.
Allround / freeride kites have a three strut construction with a hybrid shape. This falls between a bow shape and c shape. Because of this shape they have an average turning speed. To learn kitesurfing, we recommend an all-round / freeride kite. This type of kite is very stable, has a large wind range, good upwind properties and relaunches easily from the water back into the air.
All brands that we sell also have all-round / freeride kites. Our 100% freeride kites are:
- Duotone Evo
- Duotone Evo SLS
- North Reach
- Cabrinha Moto
- Airush Lithium
- Eleveight RS
There are also other types of kites with which you can freeride well. By freeriding we mean sailing laps on a flat water spot, on an inland lake or on the sea with a twintip kiteboard. The following types of kite also all have properties that make them suitable for freeriding. If you also have other ambitions such as big air or freestyle, you can also consider the following types of kites:
Freeride / big air kite
A freeride / big air kite is suitable for a (novice) freeride kite surfer with the ambition for big air. These kites are therefore also suitable for twintip freeriding. These kites have a five strut construction and are therefore very stable in strong winds. The kites are positioned more in the wind window, where these kites easily fly upwind. A big air kite also has more bar pressure, so this gives you more feedback from the kite and the wind, which ensures that you easily get a feel for the kite and the wind when learning. That is why this can also be a great kite to learn kitesurfing. The shape of this kite is more bow-oriented, so these kites have a lot of lift and hangtime on jumps.
All brands we sell also have freeride / big air models. Don't see your brand and model online? Please contact us or visit our kitesurf shop. Our most sold freeride / big air kites are:

- Cabrinha Switchblade
- Duotone Rebel SLS
- Airush Elevator
- F-One Bandit
- Eleveight XS
Freeride / freestyle kite
A (novice) freeride kitesurfer with the ambition for freestyle kitesurf tricks can also get by with a freeride / freestyle kite. Freestyle again includes a number of subcategories: hooked freestyle, unhooked freestyle, wakestyle / park, freestyle big air and freestyle surf (with a surfboard). The advantage of freeride / freestyle kites is that these types of kites rotate faster on their axis and therefore have a sportier character. These kites are also more explosive than the 100% freeride kites. If you like to steer a lot during freeriding and, for example, make many downloop transitions, then these kites are very suitable for freeriding.
All brands we sell also have freeride / freestyle models. Don't see your brand and model online? Please contact us or visit our kitesurf shop. Our most sold freeride / freestyle kites are:

- Duotone Dice SLS
- North Pulse
- F-One Bandit
- Eleveight FS

- Cabrinha FX
Freeride / wave kite
You can also twin tip well with a freeride / wave kite. These kites are fast and relaunch very well.

Freeride / light wind kite
These types of kites are characterized by a light single strut construction and fewer reinforcements in the kite. As a result, these kites fly very well in the light wind and you can also twintip / freeride very well in the light wind. Especially in combination with a larger twintip board! For the light wind kitesurfer you need to have a bit more experience, because these kites are a bit more fragile and more difficult to relaunch than the 100% freeride kites.
All brands we sell also have freeride / light-wind models. Don't see your brand and model online? Please contact us or visit our kitesurf shop. Our freeride / light wind kites are:
- Airush Ultra
